What are the guarantees for?

In crowdfunding, some campaigns have contractual guarantees to mitigate investment risks. Learn more here: What are the risks associated with my investment? How are they mitigated?

You will find information about the guarantees covering loans on each campaign page and more details in the Key Investment Information Sheet for each campaign.

Guarantees can include, for example, personal guarantees from company partners or managers, mortgages, and pledges of credits or assets.

Guarantees make investments safer for investors and are concluded in their favour by Goparity. In case of a potential default by the project promoter, one or more subsidiary ways to recover credits will be available by activating these guarantees.

Moreover, in the event of insolvency or a judicial process aimed at the promoter's financial recovery, loans with associated guarantees are classified as a priority over certain types of other creditors' claims, giving Goparity investors a privileged position in the judicial collection.
