What are Goparity Securities and Goparity Funding? How do they relate to Goparity Canada?
Goparity Canada Securities Inc. (Goparity Securities) and Goparity Canada Funding Inc. (Goparity Funding) are both 100% owned by their parent company Goparity Canada Inc. It is easiest to think of them as the two entities that work within the Goparity Canada platform to help facilitate investments as securely as possible.
Goparity Securities is a registered Exempt Market Dealer (EMD) in four provinces (British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and Nova Scotia). An EMD is a registered investment dealer in the private or “exempt” markets. You can confirm our EMD registration here, on the Canadian Securities Administrator database.
As an EMD, Goparity Securities manages the lender-facing side of the platform and prioritizes lender success. Goparity Securities facilitates the lender onboarding process and is the only seller of notes on the platform.
Goparity Funding manages the borrower-facing side of the platform. Goparity Funding is the only issuer of notes on the platform. Borrower Loans are financed by Goparity Funding through the purchase of notes bought by lenders on our platform.
